Collectors of Wood Art  (CWA)

An international gathering of collectors, curators, artists and art dealers was held in Chicago at SOFA (Sculptural Objects Functional Art). Held each year the second weekend in November, SOFA has become one of the most important shows to attend.  This year CWA hosted a large exhibition about the history of wood turning and hand sculpted wood.  Many attendees stopped by the booth to learn more about all aspects of the wood arts.  Demonstrations of turning techniques were also shown to the public.
