Steve concentrates on developing intricate surface
decoration using silver leaf, acrylics and ink on hollow turned vessels
primarily of maple, walnut or cherry. His vessels are found in museums,
galleries and collections from New York to California and have been
featured in art and craft publications in the United States, England
and Australia.

2008 exhibitions including his vessels will take place in California, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Nebraska, Virgina, Washington, and at the prestigious Sculpture Objects and Functional Art shows in Chicago and New York City. In 2009, his work will appear in a book entitled “Master Woodturners”.
The Cheongju International Craft Biennele in South Korea
has exhibited his work three times and in 2003 awarded him a special
citation.
